An urban modern design style is all about cosmopolitan living, or at the very least, cosmopolitan influence. It’s hip, trendy, and ultimately has a very industrial aesthetic, but with a much softer and less edgy side. What an urban modern design strives for is to give those that live in the city, or anyone with long workdays, a place to refresh.
Urban modern style creates a vibe that is soothing and serene, with a gorgeously decorated interior. By using neutrals and introducing warm tones you’ll feel at home and inspired to make the most of your urban modern home. We used color palettes of neutral shades, such as brown, black, and white or off-white, which produced a suppressed mood for essential pieces or furniture to obtain even more focus. The interior felt casual by the toned down colors, yet it also felt luxurious by using leather and adding some metal finishes.
No urban modern bedroom or urban modern living room would be complete without comfortable home furnishings to soften and complete the look. In Collaboration with Roche Bobois Furniture we were able to deliver an interior that is luxurious and comfortable at the same time. The use of wooden furniture, wood finishes and wooden cladding transformed this interior space into a trendy and luxurious interior. Also adding other accessories into the mix like paintings, mirrors and plants by balancing them with color and texture, added a touch of sophistication and richness to the space by still maintaining generous spaces.
Although the space contains attractive details and variable elements, it never allows you to feel the cluttered spaces. That is why one of the most important considerations was the use of natural light. With the existing façade windows we were able to exploit all natural light that made the space more vivid and spacious.
What also makes this space unique is the use of advanced home automation by applying several creative solutions that make our clients’ life better, safer and more relaxed. All in whole, home automation provides convenience, safety, and saves energy. We wanted to integrate our system within their space in a subtle way that compliments their design aesthetic and lifestyle, and thus our automation system was custom built to meet our clients’ needs and requirements. We implemented this system in various utilizations such as lighting system, heating system, air conditioning, security system, and ventilation, in addition to home theater and sound system, and home appliances like washing machines, microwave ovens, and refrigerators.
